When did you join MVH?

Originally from Dallas, Dr. Weirauch graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M with a degree in biomedical science in 1998. She continued on at A&M’s college of veterinary medicine to get her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002. After graduation she moved to Austin and decided she would stay for life. In 2008, after having been full time at one clinic, she decided to begin relief work, helping out clinics all over Austin and the surrounding areas. She has been with Manor Veterinary Hospital since 2014. When not working, she spends time with her Australian Shepherd, Minion, and Catahoula mix, Ivy. After being primarily a “dog person”, she branched into the feline world when she adopted one of MVH’s clinic cats, Chirps. The oldest nonhuman member of her household is her 25-year-old cockatiel, Kerby. Despite being the smallest, Kerby commands the respect of all of the other animals. When she is not walking her dogs or hanging out with friends and the pups at one of Austin’s dog park bars, she likes to run, read, and go to live music events.
