Sharon began her veterinary career in 1989 as a licensed veterinary technician. She is a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Animal Science. She has a life-long passion for animals of all kinds. Sharon loves her work because our days in veterinary medicine are ever-changing and you learn something new every single day – even after three plus decades! There is joy, challenges and yes, possibly sorrow in each day. But, to have healed or brought comfort to even one pet and the person who loves that pet is why we love what we do! Sharon lives in Elgin, Texas on 5 acres with her husband Daniel and their animal family. She loves spending time with her grown children, friends, and large extended family. In her precious spare time she loves reading, baking, growing succulents and cactus, and being home with her husband and animals.
